Lauren M. Balsamo is an experienced associate in the Real Estate Practice Group with a history of guiding clients through a variety of complex real estate transactions.

Lauren represents real estate investors, developers, lenders and owners in the purchase, sale, leasing and finance of commercial projects, including mixed-use properties, office buildings, warehouses, senior living facilities and healthcare facilities throughout the United States.  Her practice includes analyzing title and survey matters as well as drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of closing and loan documents.  Lauren also guides borrowers through the process of obtaining mortgage financing insured by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Lauren’s leasing practice involves the representation of landlords and tenants in all phases of the leasing process.  Her work consists of drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases and subleases for office, retail, and industrial properties ranging in size from 1,500 to over 250,000 square feet.

Prior to joining Wilk Auslander, Lauren was an associate at the Philadelphia-based law firm of Pepper Hamilton LLP where, in addition to acquisition, disposition and leasing work, she represented individuals and organizations before various municipal agencies, including the Zoning Board of Adjustment, with respect to land use and zoning projects.  Lauren has also represented individual, corporate and institutional clients in mortgage foreclosures, loan work-outs and loan modifications.
