There is no such thing as boilerplate: Panel Discussion at American Bar Association Business Law Meeting

Wilk Auslander Litigation Partner Stuart Riback recently co-chaired a panel discussion at the ABA Business Law Section Annual Meeting in Boston. The program was titled: “There is no such thing as boilerplate: Issues in the back of the contract.” The panel included two law professors, two judges and two in-house counsel. They examined the clauses that usually are in the back of the contract and explained how they are actually worth quite a bit of attention. Among specific boilerplate provisions discussed were: “Entire Agreement,” “Choice of Law,” “Choice of Forum,” “No Oral Modification.”  To learn more about the program or for a copy of the program materials, please feel free to reach out to Stuart at:  sriback@wilkauslander.com
